Reginald Raven Flys a 1930’s Campbell Propeller Plane

It's Reginald's first flight in his handmade Campbell Model A with the new controllable-pitch propeller. He's flying from New Jersey to the New York City Municipal Airport and then on to the terminal across from Grand Central. From there he plans to catch a cab to Harlem to hear a little late night jazz.

His body is made from vintage black moire taffeta and woven checked cotton. His head is created with Merino wool and vintage black moire taffeta and has safety eyes. His wings are attached with pearl buttons. 

Reginald's double-fronted lined ultrasuede vest has 9 tiny buttons. A white silk duppioni scarf is wrapped around his neck. Grey linen jodpers have buttoned front pockets and cuffs. 

Rose gold wire-rimmed sunglasses with green glass lenses and perch on his cotton lined leather aviator cap.He holds a passport-stamped bag with one of his wings. The ignition key to the plane hangs alongside his lucky brass prop plane charm.
