Owl Eyes Sees the World Differently

Owl Eyes sees the world differently. Her body is made from tye-dyed silk duppioni, Thai silk and bengaline taffeta. The arms are attached with pearl buttons and embellished with polka dot grograin and embroidery.

Her head is made from vintage moire taffeta from a 1950's cocktail dress. Pearl cotton creates the face and she has golden safety eyes. Earrings are hand-wrapped wrapped from square silver wire, silver beads, crystals and fused glass. Her eyeglasses have glass lenses.

Her removable clothes include a hand painted silk skirt, black and white striped jacket, pink cowboy boots, merino wool handbag and freshwater pearl and turquiose necklace. 

The pink painted skirt has a deep edging of bengaline taffeta finished with magenta blanket stitching and Italian pearl shirt buttons. 10 hands hold vintage Lithuanian watch faces, watch gears and swarovski crystals. The jacket has turned back lapels, turquiose satin cuffs and swarovski buttons. 

The neacklace is strung with turquiose beads with lobster clasp. A hand holds the vintage watch pendent danges between 2 freshwater pearls. Pink cowboy boots and a merino wool and silk bag finish her ensemble.
