Frog Princess Art Doll with Hand-painted Pink Silk Gown

22 inch tall Frog Princess made from vintage moire watered rayon taffeta. 

Hand painted and dyed pieced dress is created from silk duppioni and silk crepe du chine. Embroidery connects the alternating panels. 

The skirt of her gown is beaded, embroidered and edged with white and gold pinch pleated wired ribbon. 8 large stamped brass leaves hang from deep pink quartz rondelle and glass beads. The skirt lining is made from delicately woven boldly colored magenta metallic stripped fabric.

Her ankles are wrapped in custom embroidered hand painted silk duppioni leaves topped with a bow of gold flecked netting.

She wears stockings of open white and gold work  lace ribbon that ending vintage gold ribbon held in place with large stamped brass leaves that hang from deep pink quartz rondelle and glass beads that match her gown.

The sash of the gown is made from hand painted silk duppioni fastened at the back with a large stamped brass leaves hang from deep pink quartz rondelle and glass beads. 

Cuffs are decorated with more custom embroidered silk duppioni leaves topped with gathered flares of open white and gold work  lace ribbon. Pearl and gold chain wrap around the silk leaves on both arms.

Her arms are attached with vintage pearl buttons.

The bodice of the gown is made from delicately woven boldly colored magenta metallic stripped fabric. A  necklace of 30 dangling pearl beads  topped with brass leaf end caps swing from graduated gold chains.

Her eyes are vintage brass beads set with light green faceted glass. 

Vintage brass figured chain hangs from the left side of her waist ends in an iridescent studded key to her castle. Vintage pocket watch parts and and brass butterfly hand along side the chain. 

Her hat pouf is made from vintage crocheted lace, magenta organza, a 1940's antique watch face, white and gold pinch pleated ribbon and topped with 2 white ostrich feathers and a hand sewn freshwater pearl and glass bead front decoration.

Her legs are bent to sit on a shelf and organic black beans fill the lower half of her body to keep her solidly overseeing her realm.

Her clothes, hat and jewelry are not removable.
