Priscilla Pig enjoys the long summer afternoon watching from the bank of the Thames as the punters go by. Her basket is filled jam-filled sponge cake, apples and British brown bread. The year is 1911, the last summer before the great War.

Her head and arms are made from a hand-dyed velvet vintage prom dress. A silver filagree bracelet circles one wrist.  The body is made from brilliant green thai silk. Her trotters are made from a hand-dyed velvet vintage prom dress and are attached with pearl buttons. 

The hand-painted water colored silk skirt, embroidered with a mother and daughter dragonfllies, has a sash, suspenders and hem made from green striped cotton batik. Suspenders and belt are made of green striped cotton batik.

Gathered sleeves and bodice are sewn from white lace fabric.

Her embossed green velvet flapper cloche is lined with green striped batik cotton. The hatband  is embroidered white insertion lace. Dyed pink charmeuse origami flower is attached with an antique hand carved italian pearl button. A silver dragonfly hangs around her neck from a double strand of green crystal chain.

Priscilla Pig is 19" tall including hat. She sits on a shelf or hangs from a detachable hook.
